China's Great Wall filmed by drone- Beautiful video ⛩ Sons of Earth Sons of Earth

https://youtu.be/kfzyR0Bhjlc Start at: 7:17 Published on Jan 6, 2017 British geographer, conservationist and author George Kinsley has had a lifelong obsession with the Great Wall of China. Three decades ago, he left his home in Utah to live near the wall so he might better be able to study it. In 2016 he and his family travelled 15,000km (9,320 miles) around the wall network, filming it from the air with a drone. Documentary - Ancient Discoveries in China ( Great Wall of China ) - Full Documentary Films

https://youtu.be/17e6SCC5jH8 Start at: 0:00 Published on Apr 5, 2016 Documentary - Ancient Discoveries in China( Great Wall of China ) - Full Documentary Films The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications made of stone, brick, tamped earth, wood, and other materials, generally built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China to protect the Chinese states and empires against the raids and invasions of the various nomadic groups of the Eurasian Steppe. Several walls were being built as early as the 7th century bce;[2] these, later joined together and made bigger and stronger, are now collectively referred to as the Great Wall.[3] Especially famous is the wall built 220–206 bce by Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. Little of that wall remains. Since then, the Great Wall has on and off been rebuilt, maintained, and enhanced; the majority of the existing wall is from the Ming Dynasty. Other purposes of the Great Wall have included border controls, allowing the imposition of duties on goods transported along the Silk Road, regulation or encouragement of trade and the control of immigration and emigration. Furthermore, the defensive characteristics of the Great Wall were enhanced by the construction of watch towers, troop barracks, garrison stations, signaling capabilities through the means of smoke or fire, and the fact that the path of the Great Wall also served as a transportation corridor. The Great Wall stretches from Dandong in the east, to Lop Lake in the west, along an arc that roughly delineates the southern edge of Inner Mongolia. A comprehensive archaeological survey, using advanced technologies, has concluded that the Ming walls measure 8,850 km (5,500 mi).[4] This is made up of 6,259 km (3,889 mi) sections of actual wall, 359 km (223 mi) of trenches and 2,232 km (1,387 mi) of natural defensive barriers such as hills and rivers.[4] Another archaeological survey found that the entire wall with all of its branches measure out to be 21,196 km (13,171 mi).[5] Category People & Blogs License Standard YouTube License SHOW LESS COMMENTS Oscar del Rosario Add a public comment...

The Universe includes planets, stars, galaxies, the contents of intergalactic space, the smallest subatomic particles, and all matter and energy. The observable universe is about 28 billion parsecs (91 billion light-years) in diameter at the present time. The size of the whole Universe is not known and may be infinite. Observations and the development of physical theories have led to inferences about the composition and evolution of the Universe. Throughout recorded history, cosmologies and cosmogonies, including scientific models, have been proposed to explain observations of the Universe. The earliest quantitative geocentric models were developed by ancient Greek philosophers and Indian philosophers.Over the centuries, more precise astronomical observations led to Nicolaus Copernicus's heliocentric model of the Solar System and Johannes Kepler's improvement on that model with elliptical orbits, which was eventually explained by Isaac Newton's theory of gravity. Further observational improvements led to the realization that the Solar System is located in a galaxy composed of billions of stars, the Milky Way. It was subsequently discovered that our galaxy is just one of many. On the largest scales, it is assumed that the distribution of galaxies is uniform and the same in all directions, meaning that the Universe has neither an edge nor a center. Observations of the distribution of these galaxies and their spectral lines have led to many of the theories of modern physical cosmology. The discovery in the early 20th century that galaxies are systematically redshifted suggested that the Universe is expanding, and the discovery of the cosmic microwave background radiation suggested that the Universe had a beginning. Finally, observations in the late 1990s indicated the rate of the expansion of the Universe is increasing indicating that the majority of energy is most likely in an unknown form called dark energy. The majority of mass in the universe also appears to exist in an unknown form, called dark matter. ------- Keywords Channel: National Geographic, Documentary, Nature, documentary nature, documentary national geographic, nature documentary, nation nature, nature geographic, National Geographic Documentary. national geographic documentaries, documentaries national geographic, documentaries films, documentaries hd, nature documentaries, watch documentary, watch documentaries, watch documentary films, the universe, universe, universe documentary, space documentary, space exploration, universe documentaries, space documentaries, documentary films hd, documentaries films hd, documentary hd space. ------------ Note: Video not belong me. fairytale destinations

5 real life fairytale destinations all couples must visit 25 Jan 2017 This article was originally on GET.com at: 5 Real Life Fairytale Destinations All Couples Must Visit Singapore is most likely the place where most of us met (or will meet) our other half and end up happily ever after. While that’s cool in its own right, which lovey dovey couple wouldn’t dream of visiting gorgeous holiday destinations straight out of fairytales that we grew up reading and then fantasising? These real life fairytale destinations that we at GET.com have gathered for you look incredible. The visuals alone are tempting enough to make you want to jet off with your sweetheart in a heartbeat! 1. Mont Saint-Michel, France I’m sure you agree that Mont Saint-Michel looks sublime and magical at the same time. This island commune nestled all the way in Normandy, France, is basically a Disney castle in real life. If you’ve watched Tangled, you would have noticed the semblance; the castle in the Disney animated film was inspired by none other than Mont Saint-Michel. 2. Hohenzollern Castle, Germany First things first, the white fluff that you see in the picture above is - you guessed it - a cloud. Standing more than 750 feet above Germany, it is no wonder that a trip up to Hohenzollern Castle is bound to send you on cloud nine. Being an architectural masterpiece, beautiful, and full of historic nuances at the same time, this castle is so well-loved that it’s many people’s favourite castle in Germany. 3. Waitomo Glowworm Caves, New Zealand Image source: uniquehunters.com Worms may make you squirm but these luminescent glowworms native to New Zealand will make you feel delighted and fascinated. Put your urbanite front away and bask in wonderful nature already - I guarantee you’ll marvel at the ethereal glow inside the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. Don’t these just remind you of a starry night? In retrospect, the Blue Fairy in Pinocchio suddenly doesn’t feel so fancy anymore. 4. The Dark Hedges, Northern Ireland Ever thought of eloping into the woods with your significant other? Well, you can do just that when you’re at The Dark Hedges, but I can’t guarantee that you won’t be rubbing shoulders with other tourists though. Planted back in the 18th century, these majestic beech trees are hands down one of the most photographed natural wonders in Northern Ireland. Here’s another fun fact - the stunning tunnel of trees that you saw on Game of Thrones is as real as it can be, and it’s none other than The Dark Hedges. 5. Colmar, France Located near Germany’s border in the quaint town of Colmar, France, this charming little town makes one feel like he or she has just stepped foot into the village in Beauty and the Beast. Although considerably small, this enchanting French town is a truly splendid destination for travellers looking to explore a town that looks just like a haunting postcard you’d pay good money for. Want To Spice Up Your Relationship Without Spending Too Much Money? Though I concede that occasional spendy indulgences like travelling and gifts are absolutely sweet and dear, there are priceless things couples can do to keep the spark alive in their relationship. The most crucial takeaway is to always be each other’s pillar of support, each other’s biggest fan no matter how much of a cliché this sounds like. Here are some inexpensive, fun and romantic ideas for couples who are watching their budgets. Cheers to love! What do you think? Share your comments with us below! That’s where goal quotes come in. There’s nothing like a good quote to rekindle your enthusiasm and have you raring to go once again. Below you’ll find 50 goal quotes that will inspire and motivate you to get started on your goals and to keep going even when you feel like you’re ready to throw in the towel. 1. “Without goals, and plans to reach them, you are like a ship that has set sail with no destination.” — Fitzhugh Dodson 2. “People with goals succeed because they know where they’re going.” — Earl Nightingale 3. “If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. It was a wonderful day where I got to try some bamboo sticky rice and spring rolls, I saw how they make rice paper and rice wine, I saw the killing fields and lots of beautiful temples. Exposing The Matrix Of Lies

DESCRIPTION Exposing the Matrix Of Lies ... We as a group are compelled to impart WISDOM on every system in the Matrix and we are not here to sugar coat those LIES. Be it Political or Religious, Banking, and Corporate. We are here to expose all ideologies that ENSLAVE, DIVIDE, INDOCTRINATE, DUMB DOWN. We are here to EXPOSE THE: WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE and HOW this MATRIX Operates. We are not here to attack Individuals that is the IRONY. WE want to POINT OUT how IDEOLOGIES, for Centuries has retarded Mankind. We Have Proof Past and Present via World History, ALL Religions, Including the Root of All religions; Paganism, The Occult, Geopolitics, Banking, Current World Affairs, World Cultures, Science, Myths etc. We are totally against VIOLENCE but we will do our best to eradicate IGNORANCE by all non violent means. In Regards to Religions: Being Spiritual and Knowing is one thing, however Organizing, Exploiting Faiths for Money, GREED, POWER, using it as WMD (refer to World history and the present situation, please) to DIVIDE AND RULE, to Keep people in the DARK from the higher truths is ANOTHER. So if you are part of any system and are CURIOUS (big sign of Intelligence) and want to Learn those higher truths you are Welcomed. If you want to REMAIN IGNORANT, that is YOUR CHOICE. If you need A system to make you a better person and to appease conscience, you are not a good person. This Reality is not what you think it is. It is INVERTED and you have Been DUPED. Technology has surpassed Primitive man because of these SYSTEMS. If Cognizant Dissonance sets in Please feel free to leave without any Histrionic Post that usurps our Page for Truth.. We could care less about your Bruised EGO and PRIDE...

Reply 6 BARACKOBAMA BARACKOBAMA1 year ago +231flash NOT NAKED ENOUGH Reply 1 Kenneth Lyneham Kenneth Lyneham1 year ago (edited) Cuba truly IS a country with the richest poor people ever. My wife and I traveled through Cuba for ten fantastic days in 2008 I am Aussie and she is Peruvian. As much as my wife loves Peru, (an understatement) Her considered opinion was, the holiday in Cuba was the best we had ever had. 85% of our time there was spent with Cuban people, avoiding all the tourist enclaves. The only tilt to opulence was the little Hyundai car we hired in Havana. From Havana we went to Santa Clara where we picked up a Cuban couple then set off for Santiago de Cuba where we spent a wonderful number of days. Then we began our return journey following the east coast road up to Manzanilla and then on back to Santa Clara where we said farewell to our new found friends and headed back to Havana and the flight home. We never met a single poor Cuban the whole time we were there. There ARE variant degrees of richness, the wage structure is such that it goes from $8 to $35 per month. By our standards, that sounds poor, but when everyone is the same, there are no rich or poor. We loved everything about Cuba, the land, beaches, cities, towns, small villages and isolated communities and individuals. The food was adequate but because of limited supply brought about by the American embargo a bit on the boring side, although I didn't mind the national dish Congri. The greatest thing for me about Cuba is the Music and because the music is SO fantastic, so too are the people. We were inspired to travel to Cuba after watching the movie, "The Buena Vista Social Club" and reading Lynette Chiang's brilliant travel book, "The Handsomest Man in Cuba: An Escapade". I used the book as a guide and chose 5 people from within it, to track down, visit and read to them the extract about them from the book. It was a massive success. They loved it. I highly recommend the book to all, especially if you intend to travel Cuba. Viva Cuba !! [Documentary] .The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications made of stone, brick, tamped earth, wood, and other materials, generally built along an east-to-west line across the historical northern borders of China to protect the Chinese states and empires against the raids and invasions of the various nomadic groups of the Eurasian Steppe. [Documentary] .Several walls were being built as early as the 7th century bce; these, later joined together and made bigger and stronger, are now collectively referred to as the Great Wall. Especially famous is the wall built 220–206 bce by Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. Little of that wall remains. Since then, the Great Wall has on and off been rebuilt, maintained, and enhanced; the majority of the existing wall is from the Ming Dynasty. [Documentary] . [Documentary] .Other purposes of the Great Wall have included border controls, allowing the imposition of duties on goods transported along the Silk Road, regulation or encouragement of trade and the control of immigration and emigration. [Documentary] . Furthermore, the defensive characteristics of the Great Wall were enhanced by the construction of watch towers, troop barracks, garrison stations, signaling capabilities through the means of smoke or fire, and the fact that the path of the Great Wall also served as a transportation corridor. Surviving a bout of cutaneous leishmaniasis leaves him immune to reinfection. I wouldn't want to accompany him, however. More Legend has it that the locals fled Honduras’ City of the Monkey God in the 16th century fearing that it had been cursed with disease. Five-hundred years later, a group of explorers excavating the lost city became the latest victims to incur the wrath of the monkey god when they nearly lost their faces to a flesh-eating parasite. “The parasite migrates to the mucous membranes of your mouth and your nose and basically eats them away,” Doug Preston, an author who documented the trip, said. “Your nose falls off, your lips fall off, and eventually your face becomes a gigantic, open sore.” ORLANDO SIERRA/AFP/Getty Images ORLANDO SIERRA/AFP/Getty ImagesAerial view of the Kaha Kamasa (White City, in Misquito language) archaeological site in La Mosquitia, northeast of Tegucigalpa, on January 12, 2016. Honduras started a major archaeological dig for a mysterious, ancient "White City" supposedly hidden in jungle in its northeast that explorers and legends have spoken of for centuries. The group, made up of American and Honduran explorers and archeologists, announced they found the lost city, also known as the Ciudad Blanca or the White City, in 2015. The city earned its name, according to American explorer Theodore Morde, because of indigenous legends stating it contained a giant buried statue of a monkey god. Morde claimed to be the first to find the lost city after returning from an expedition, but died before he could return. Other legends speak of it as a “white house” or “place of cacao” from which no one has returned, according to National Geographic. After spending years searching, the team found the city’s ruins in the 32,000 km Mosquitia rain forest — with a stroke of good fortune. Searching through the thick vegetation with the assistance of a laser mapping system proved unsuccessful until the city was found when crew members noticed stone structures barely sticking out of the ground. Preston told CBS News that months after leaving the jungle, he noticed a bug bite that simply wouldn’t go away. And so did half his team members. Eventually, the National Institutes of Health diagnosed them with Leishmaniasis — a parasitic disease — and the team was forced to undergo treatment. The disease was contracted from sand fly bites. Once bitten, the parasites within the bugs can enter the human blood stream and begin eating away at the immune cells that normally kill bugs. Initial symptoms include fever and vomiting. If left untreated, Leishmania can result in horrible disfigurement. But long before they were infected with Leishmaniasis, the explorers nearly fell victim to the lethally poisonous snakes infesting the area. When a pit viper called the fer de lance made its way into their camp under the cover of darkness, a jungle warfare expert snapped into action. Flickr/Caspar S Flickr/Caspar SA fer de lance viper attacked the expedition crew in the middle of the night. “He pinned the snake,” Steve Elkins, one of the explorers, told CBS News. “But the snake exploded at that point into an absolute fury of striking everywhere, squirting venom, streams of venom across the night air.” Between the thick cover of vegetation, disease and venomous snakes, it would seem the monkey god was striking back at the outsiders for their attempts to find the long-lost city. In reality, the curse and resulting exodus from the White City coincide with a Spanish invasion in the 1500s that brought with them a wave of both slavery and disease. Before Preston and his crew discovered the city, it had remained one of the last unexplored places on the planet. ORLANDO SIERRA/AFP/Getty Images ORLANDO SIERRA/AFP/Getty Images Within the city’s ruins, the team removed dozens of artifacts carved from stone and clay, including trays and a throne. Many were sculpted with snarling jaguar heads. It was one of the jaguar heads sticking out of the ground that first drew the attention of the explorers. The artifacts date back to 1000 and 1500 AD. Preston knows there are more secrets held within the White City’s ruins but after nearly losing his face, he doubts that it’s possible to go back and continue the excavation. “It’s just too dangerous,” he said. “And just getting in and out is dangerous.”
